Alarming Emergency & Laying of Hands

It was Friday (30th Nov 2014), in the wee hours of the morning. I had completed my work halfway and decided that I wasn't very productive anymore; so I sauntered off to my bed at 2am.

My mum was still fast asleep on the couch; waking her up didn't have any effect, so I went to my room and started reading love stories (just because I was in the mood of reading suddenly). Come 3.30am, my dad entered my room to ask me to accompany them to the hospital.

Mum was having pains on her left abdomen and wanted to get to the hospital immediately. So I got ready and went with them; having no sleep anyways.

She was in a lot of pain during the ride to the hospital and I just took my rosary and prayed for her; asking Mother Mary for her intersession and The Lord Jesus for healing and protection. I hadn't managed to complete the rosary after we reached, so we got Mum admitted and I continued to lead the rosary until it was completed.

And I remember the experience well; in the emergency ward with almost no one around except us and the nurses on duty with a doctor, studying Mum's history to determine the cause. It was cold but brightly lit, the machines beeping, recording Mum's blood pressure.

When I finished the rosary, I continued my plea for healing in tongues. The black of my eyes could see the brightness even with my eyelids closed; and in that brightness, I saw, in a blurred state, a man, in white robes, appearing from above. He too, laid His hands over my Mum's left abdomen and prayed with me. I recognized Him as Jesus, and I was thankful that He was answering my prayer.

After He had laid his hands on her, He bent forwards and kissed her on her forehead, then mine, then my dad's, before the brightness faded away and I opened my eyes.

I then understood that God heard me and answered my prayers, and my Mum was going to be alright...

Fast forwards to the next week: yup, my Mum is okay now :) She just had to undergo operation as there a cyst was bleeding at the back of her left ovary, and she's recuperating well.

I just wanna say that this post on this experience is LOOOONNGGG overdue, and so is giving glory to Him on Most High because He personally came just to lay hands over Mum and prayed with me :D

And after that, I knew, no matter what happened, my Mum was going to be alright^^
